I'm not sure I'm cut out for this whole glasses thing. I don't know how I feel about wearing them all of the time. I couldn't get contacts because I have reading glasses, so I need to be able to switch my full-time glasses out with my reading ones when I have to read for long periods of time. The distance glasses certainly help me see better, but... I feel like I look so silly. Everybody says they like them, but I don't know. I guess they'll take some getting used to.
On a side note, does anybody know if they can add the anti-glare stuff to the lenses after they've put the prescription on them? I opted out of the anti-glare, but after wearing them all day I'm regretting it.
Re: I had to get glasses...
I don't need glasses per se, though I have major vision problems. It's just that glasses won't help my blindness. *Ahem*
Anyway, I'm not sure, but could you take your glasses back and ask for the anti-glare coating to be put on them? Not sure whether they do that, but it's always best to ask; the answer might surprise you.
Do the creep.
Thanks! I'll give my eye doctor a call on Monday about the anti-glare coating. I was at a conference all day today, so I didn't get a chance to call before they closed.
Storm, as requested, here is a picture of the new glasses:
They're growing on me. Slowly. I've been getting lots of compliments on them today, so they must not look that bad. I'm just being self-conscious, I suppose.

I'm a little late to the party, but they look great on you!
