DD is being a pirate. not very girly, i know. but for whatever reason she is into pirates right now. i am probably letting her watch too much tv- she actually told me she needed a "hook!" anyway i got the costume from walmart online and it was only $14 and change to have it shipped to me. i was skeptical at first but it's actually really cute on her. (they had a pretty decent selection online, might be worth looking.) i bought her little black boots to match from target. the only problem is, i tried it on her the other day and now i cant put it away. she wants to wear it everyday... we are in a dress up phase now, so at least i'll get my $14 worth!

Kingston will be a Dragon. He doesn't quite fit in the outfit yet, but I force him to try it on anyway. I'm a little excited as my older kids have kind of outgrown the whole dress up thing.

we actually just got their costumes today bc we were at Old Navy and in the Newburgh mall they're 25% off so what the heck.

I haven't seen the costume in person so it may not be bad at all. We're trying to "talk her out of it" just in case. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
Ive been looking a ton but I reall yhave to buckle down and order something already. Drew will NOT wear anything on his head, so the costume has to have no hat/head thing.
I was thinking the cowboy from Childrens Place (but now they dont have his size), a pirate or they have an adorable Elvis costume (I can just slick his mane back)

Well I bought a Gnome costume for Jack last year for $2 at Target during clearance. I wanted him to be that. If so Charlotte will be a flower.
MIL was given an "adorable" (quoted by DH) Pooh & Piglet set for the kids. I LOATHE Winnie the Pooh... so unsure still and I have yet to see it.
I may use the firetruck power wheel and have Jack be a firefighter and make C a dalmation puppy. (That we would use at the parade in town).
A also won't wear anything on her head for longer than 4 seconds, so I just ordered her a Minnie Mouse costume. If she won't wear the ears she will at least still look like minnie mouse because of the dress.
Steph- I ordered her the red one. I was torn between the 2 different costumes too and I opted for the red because the pink one got bad reviews. I'll let you know what it's like when I get it.

whenever he decides to come (because at this point it feels like hes never cominggg) i decided not to go crazy this year cause hes going to a couple of weeks old. but i do want to dress him up for dh's work parade, halloween (day) and the nyack parade... i figure i'll go to my parents and walk around the neighborhood with him dressed up. hopefully my little cousins will come up this year and i can walk with them.
so we're just going to do a simple pumpkin.
