Hi girls,
So I've been buying the already made pizza crust for my pizza... I'm wondering if any of you have any suggestions for something else? Do any of you make a simple pizza dough or anything? I'm loving homemade pizza but want to spice up the crust part without toooo much time/work, lol.

I always use Annie's Eats recipe. It requires some wait time for the rising of the dough, but you can freeze it and then it's so easy! Just put it in the fridge in the morning and it's done and ready to go for dinner that night. The recipe makes a double batch so I always have at least one for the freezer when I make it.

I love it because it only takes 30 minutes to rise. Also a fan of brushing it with garlic butter.

Another vote for making it in the bread machine!
Also, if you have a Trader Joe's by you, they sell bags of regular or whole wheat dough for $1. You can usually get several small pizzas or one large pizza out of it.
The only time I've made dough on my own was when I made a Chicago style deep dish pizza. It wasn't necessarily quick, but made a lot and was so good. I copied it out of a cookbook, but could probably find something similar on-line.
Okay, so I have to admit, I've never bought yeast before... is there a trick to it... different ones... is it possible to buy the wrong one... where in the store would I find it? Forgive my ignorance... lol.
There are different types - quick rise, active dry and bread machine are all more or less the same. I usually get the bread machine one because it does work well in the machine - it works fine not in the machine too. I prefer the ones in the jars because not every recipe goes by 1 packet of yeast and converting gets to be a PITA. I like the Red Star brand best.
In my store, they're either in the dairy section or by the baking stuff. If you do get a jar, it needs to be fridged after you open it.
