When I'm feeling that way I usually watch a disney movie like Finding Nemo and it seems to help... oh and ice cream... lots of ice cream.

My hubby and I are recovering from going to the Gorge last night to see Zac Brown Band. :-) Can't believe it's Sunday night and we have to work tomorrow! Ugh!
Oh I'm jealous. I really wanted to go to that concert but just couldn't justify spending the money... ticket, camping, food, gas, beer...

Hi! Oh my goodness, it was AMAZING! We are new to WA and had heard so many great things about the Gorge so we bit the bullet and booked a concert! It wasn't what we expected at all in the sense that it's a total party fest the entire night and there definitely wasn't much sleep involved for the money we spent to go! Us newlyweds can't keep up with drinking like we did in the college days! :-)
But, ZBB was AMAZING and they played a LONG show! Definitely a fun experience!
I'm here! I just made some dinner and H and I are watching the Eagles/Falcons game. My throat hurts and I'm thinking a very early bedtime is in order. It was a pretty low key day - got my hair colored then wandered around Belle Square for a bit. I caved and bought a pair of those Toms shoes... I've made fun of how ugly they are, but oh my word are they the most comfy thing ever! And a kid in an impoverished country gets a pair too. Win win.
Kristen - I'm jealous of your ZBB trip! How fun! I saw Brad Paisley there last summer, and I'm definitely too old for the all night partying part. I went with my best friend and we got a really nice hotel room in Ellensburg instead of camping out. It was a bit of drive after the concert, but sooo worth it. Its a sweet venue though! So gorgeous out there.
LB - so sorry its a downer night. Those are never fun. Hope you feel better!

i'm here. exhausted and about to get into bed.
h started his second job tonight and i cried when he left. i guess it hit me that i'll literally not see him for days at a time. preparing that much food at once and making sure i have everything covered is exhauting and i'm anxious about it for when i'm gone. i feel like the worst wife.
anyway, i have a physical tomorrow. cross your fingers all my blood work comes back fab and i have no issues. this also means i can't eat and i'm hungry.. but only because i know i can't eat.
i'm making stew tomorrow in the crock pot. i'm super excited about it.
hope everyone had a good weekend. night.
and btw, i feel really lucky that he's working a second job.. i'm just so worried about him. he's gonna be so tired, could get sick.. and i guess i really didn't think what it would mean to have another job. i feel lonely already. and sammy (my babydog) layed on his work shirt and wouldn't get off, even when i left. he misses his daddy already too.

We just ate dinner, and we're watching the football game. I'm irritated with Chris Collins for comparing Michael Vick to Hank Aaron, saying that Vick is a hero in Atlanta. (And the Atlanta fans obviously didn't agree with that, either, as they booed Vick when he went to the locker room after getting hurt.)
I'm hoping to go to bed early tonight because I have to be at the courthouse by 7:30 tomorrow morning for Jury Duty.
