Hey Ladies... My oldest Step-Son started Cub Scouts and is selling Popcorn. We're doing pretty well with taking orders but are going to try and sell even more by using the show and sell method. With this method, people give us their money right away and receive their popcorn right away. I'm going to take him to some houses in the neighborhood this weekend when he comes over but we were told that you can ask businesses if you can set up a table there and sell the popcorn. I'm trying to form a list to call tomorrow to see about setting up tables and what is involved (do you have to have a certain number of kids there selling or is there a limit, and I need to make sure it's free).
This is the list I have so far:
Local Malls
Sams Club
BJ's
Tops (local grocery store)
Wilson Farms (local convenience store)
Is there any other places you ladies can think of that I could call to see about selling? Our pack informed us that Walmart isn't a good choice b/c they make you set up a table so far away from the doors and they make you stand so many feet away that it's hard for the boys to get anyone to come close to the table.
Thanks!!!!
Re: Need Ideas
CVS/Walgreens/Rite Aid (whatever you have up there)
Wegmans?
Local Farmers' Market
RIP Dr. Irving Fishman - 10/1/19-7/25/10 - thank you for holding on for me.
You made my wedding day complete.
I always see kids outside Dunkin Donuts. I don't know of those are popular in your neck of the woods, but any coffee shop place would work
how about a bakery? library? book store? gymnastics center (you can maybe work with them if they have free trial coupons or something and hand it out with every popcorn you sell)?
down here we have the main village-where if you set up outside one store, you'll get a huge crowd of people walking by since there are a whole bunch of stores on the strip. anything like that in your area?
good luck!
