For the 4th or 5th time in my life, I've gotten summoned for Jury Duty. I called in yesterday, and my group number does have to report tomorrow, so I have to be at the courthouse by 7:30am tomorrow morning! Ugh.
I'm not sure if I want to get on a jury or not. I wouldn't mind being on a jury, as long as it doesn't last more than 5 days (my company will give me 5 days off for Jury Duty; after that, I won't get paid). I haven't had a "normal" work week in a long time, though, so I'd really rather not miss any more work than I have to.

I felt the same way as you. I am really in to all of the live trials and when I got summoned thought it could be interesting to do, but I couldn't find reliable care for Lucie that week and I was able to use her as a reason to get out of it, even though I didn't mind doing it.
Hopefully if you get put on a case it won't take too long!
i've never gotten called for jury duty!!
boo for being there so early!! and for not getting paid more than 5 days. what are you supposed to do??
