How was everyone's weekend?
Friday night we just hung in and Saturday late afternoon we dropped A at my sisters for the night so we could go to a wedding; beside horrendous traffic we got there RIGHT as the bride was walking down the aisle. I did better than I thought being away....and Ava slept from 8-12:30 and then 1-5 and then 5:15-10 at my sisters. Provided she's never slept anywhere else, not too bad.
I think it did MH and I a lot of good to just get away and be US for the night. It was nice to catch up with some friends who I've not seen in a while and talk about what's going on with them and talk adult things (obviously people asked about the baby and I did talk about her a lot, but it was nice to discuss other things!)
Yesterday we drove back, picked her up and watched football all day. And Ava treated us to 12 hours of sleep, I got 8, and already got my workout in. Wheee!
Re: Happy Monday!
I'm glad the wedding went well - and that Ava has been sleeping! That's awesome!
Weekend was pretty quiet for us. Finally got my car fixed on Saturday...A/C isn't blowing as cold as it used to, but at least I'm no longer afraid the A/C itself will give out. Watched the second half of that ridiculous OSU/Tulsa game that started at 12:15am and ended at 3:36am. Yeesh.
Met my best friend in OKC yesterday for some shopping. JJ really, REALLY hates the mall, apparently, and kept trying to leave. Luckily, he didn't throw a super tantrum, but he wasn't exactly on his best behavior while we were there. All that mini tantrum throwing must've worn him out, because he was asleep by 7:45 and slept for 12 hours. Sweet. I'm already counting the days until this upcoming weekend though - we're going to the zoo AND the state fair!
Wow, knowing Boston traffic as I do, I'm glad you got there in time for the ceremony!
Friday night, I had to usher. A good friend of mine was scheduled that night too, so that was cool. Really I don't mind ushering even when I don't know the other people because it's theater and we're all talkative. So I just meet new people. It's hard, though, to be there for 2 hours mostly standing and having to whisper because if you're too loud in the lobby, the people in the back of the house can hear you.
Saturday morning, I worked of course, then Eric and I went to the Renaissance Faire.
Sunday I did a bunch of stuff around the house, and then in the afternoon did face painting and glitter tats at a 3-year-old's birthday. It was really fun, though they'd asked me to come in clown, for which I charge extra, and then when I got there the birthday girl freaked out so I had to lose the clown suit and wash my face.

That is awesome that you guys got out. I know you have been a bit annoyed with DH lately so I'm sure it felt good to be back to just you guys for a night.
We had a good/bad weekend all mixed together. Friday we had dinner at my parents and then I went out shopping with my mom. It was a nice night. Saturday we went to a PBA picnic with my family and it was a really nice day. Saturday evening we all came down with bad colds, which put a damper on our weekend. Robert & I are doing well now, but DH still claims to be very sick. I think he is just being a baby!!

No idea, but I am pretty sure that is why women outlive men. Once they are actually sick we ignore them because of all the prior false alarms.
Glad to hear you made the ceremony just in time.
We had a great weekend Saturday, didn't do much of anything, a little cleaning and errands and totally relaxing day Sunday went to the beach, felt like I was away for a week.

Great weekend!
Though I really have no concept of days of the week right now. Nate was so happy when we came home Saturday. When Ben is happy or sleeping, Nate wants to be center of attention like he's always been. He gets upset with us if we pay attention to Ben. If Ben's crying, Nate wants to hold him and take care of him. I think he's adjusting well. Rodgers goes back to work tomorrow, but Mom is staying.
LOL!

Pretty good. Friday, DH and I had date night. We went to On the Border and were sorely disappointed. Turns out we don't like their food anywhere (stupid chain restaraunt). We like our local tex mex place a lot better!
Anyway, Saturday DH worked all dang day so, I ran 2 miles around the track and "wasted" my life away on etsy and pinterest searching for applique designs.
Sunday, church and then I went shopping with my mom to get fabric for my designs and she bought me a few work clothes since I'm too small for mine now, yay!

Friday, we just relaxed at home. Saturday, we went to brunch them relaxed at my parents house for the rest of the evening. We watched some really good movies. Sunday, hubby worked and my brothers and I headed to church. My parents babysat Little D. We spent the rest of the evening at my parents house. We watched football all day, and my dad cooked a yummy dinner and I made fudge brownies. We got home in time for the 3rd quarter of the Eagles game but passed out from being so tired before the game was even over
