Re: B&M Monday
DH's friends are pregnant. They called and told him literally before the pee on the stick was even dry. The got pregnant right out of the gate.
We've only been trying for a couple of months - not nearly long enough to have the right to whine about it happening quickly for other people. However it's a tough pill to swallow b/c these two DRINK LIKE FISH. And when we were over there house two weeks ago - she was ripping (cigarette) butts one after the next. It bothers me imensely that she would smoke when she knew she may be pregnant.
DH is now in super mope mood b/c we aren't pregnant - and his actions are really making me feel like shi*. And I don't need it. Like I said above - it's only been a couple months.
I've totally been there before. Keep your head up. You'll get a BFP! Maybe we can be date twins soon!! (But we're always game for date triplets/quads/etc! haha)
I stayed up later than I wanted to last night to finish my reading for my quiz this morning only to find out when I got to class that I read the wrong chapter.
This afternoon I have to go to the dentist and have them put my permanent crown on. It shouldn't take long, but I really really hate my dentist. They made a mistake that ended up costing me $700 and refuse to apologize or even accept that they were at fault. As soon as this proceedure is done Steve and I are swtiching to a new dentist.

Here's to date quadruplets- You. Me, Yvonne and NittanyLion
Here's hoping indeed!!!!
I need to go shopping for fall/winter clothes so bad but we have no extra money to do so.
I dread coming into work lately. A couple co-workers have made me feel this way and I hate it because I really like my job. This makes the work weeks loooooooong.
I feel like everyone around us is pregnant. Even though I know it's not our ideal time right now, I wish it were. I'm more than ready.
Today, I am beyond tired and the house needs some tlc. I should be napping, but I think I need to clean after lunch.
I am really missing seeing Vermont in fall this year, as well as spending time with my family.
I am completely bummed that my dad has to leave before 2.0 is due. He is having his 2nd knee replacement surgery in Feb. and therefore he needs to be back to VT immediately after Christmas to prep his office for him to be out for a month. At least my mom is able to be here from Dec. 22-January 7th.
Allergies are killing me right now, I am so congested and can't take a decongestant b/c I am BF.
I need to clean the house and I really don't want to.
Not to much to B/M about here I guess.
DH and I went to the bank today to sort out the mortgage application. We were given a sheet a paper last time we were there to say what information we need to provide to apply and so I went by that. When we got there today, we were told that it wasn't what was required so now I have to find a way to print bank information (which is kind of sensitive/personal information) when we don't own a printer.
And then my dad is trying to get us to apply at different banks just because they might give us a slightly lower interest rate. DH and I don't want to go through the hassle of reapplying though. At the very least we want to try and negotiate the interest rate with our current bank. The only problem is I was just a tad rude at the guy today because I was frustrated with him.

My Blog
- We went away for a nice relaxing weekend while my parents watched Mags. I felt bad doing so since my dad wasn't feeling good and Mags wasn't 100%. Of course she spiked a high fever Saturday morning and my parents had to bring her to the pediatrician. They said they didn't mind, but I feel awful that their weekend with Mags consisted of antibiotics and a cranky pants.
- On that same note - my poor child is never ever healthy. She has been at the doctor once a week for the past 3 weeks. The poor kid gets over 1 thing and it goes right into something else. I just want my healthy happy child back.
- Also, Matt took today off so we could go someplace fun with Maggie. She was still crabby and not feeling good, so our fun activities consisted of grocery shopping and family nap time.
- I hate when things don't go according to plan. I am such a planner and when things go off course I get so disappointed.
Just wait! Throughout the mortgage process you're going to have to give up everything but your blood type. It's a never ending list of papers that the bank will need and just when you think you're set to go, they'll ask for just one more document.
- My uncle has lost 30 lbs in the past 3 weeks due to cancer. No one can give a straight answer about the treatment plan at this point and I know my dad is really struggling because he wants to know what's going on. Cancer can bite me; it's hit my family from every imaginable angle and I'm tired of watching by while it takes another person.
- The annual school counselor conference is in Minneapolis this year. I've been saving up to go since I missed the last one in Seattle and I'm bummed about the location. I'm sure Minneapolis is great, but I was hoping for somewhere a little less landlocked.
- My ear has been hurting off and on for a couple of weeks now. I'm telling myself it's allergy related, but I've got a feeling it's an ear infection brewing.
- My school observation this year is going to be while doing a structured recess group. 1) I've never done a recess group before. 2) I am horrible at outdoor sports and haven't had to take a gym class since I was in 5th grade (thank you private school). 3) It's school picture day and the kids want to learn how to play football=disaster.
M starts studying for CFA level 2 tomorrow, which means a lot of our fun time is pretty much over until next June.
M's been talking about babies 24/7 because the wives of his two buddies are pregnant, but when I start oogling over my adorable baby cousin he gets all weird like I'm trying to talk him into having kids now. It's a complete double-standard going on.
Mary's crushing me in football this week. It's pathetic.
Kate's Recipe Box || Relatively Bookish
I couldn't find my keys this morning so I left my house 20 minutes late.
My Smartboard at school stopped working so I had to improvise all of my lessons.
Julia and DH both have colds and I have had a headache for two days.
From what we were told today, all I need is 4 more pieces of paper. I have two printed, and the other two DH will photocopy for me tomorrow and drop them off at the bank (which is right accross from the bank). A hopefully we can negotiate for lower payments; but if all else fails it looks like we'll be approved for a mortgage in a couple days.
