"Shiver me timbers!"
I'm reading the lap-by-lap coverage of the NASCAR race and the writer must have a pirate fascination. So far, I've seen the above mentioned "shiver me timbers", "matey" has been used twice, and "ahoy" and "avast" have also popped up.
(And, yes, I freely admit to being a NASCAR junkie. It's all my dad's fault.)
