Hi ladies! I'm more of a lurker on this board, but I am looking for a recommendation. I have very curly hair that I normally straighten. I am considering converting to curly hair full time. So, I am looking for a hair stylist recommendation. Someone who knows what they're doing when it comes to curly hair.
Does anyone have curly hair, and do you have a stylist that you absolutely love?
Thanks in advance!
Re: Curly Hair Ladies
I have curly hair and go to Lacey Reed. She used to be at Turning Heads but started at her own place. She does a great job.

Thanks for the recs ladies!
I've actually been using Megan at The Grove for awhile, but haven't had a chance to ask her if she is experienced with curly hair. I normally go in and have her cut/style it so I can wear it straight. So, I think I'll check with her!
Hi There!
I am a hair designer of 35 years and located in Scottsdale, AZ. I had two large salons in CA for 20 years and consulted with many salons and stylists nationally. The best recommendation is to find someone that has the same hair texture as you do and a great cut and color. Always make an appointment for a free consult prior to making the commitment. Get there about an hour early. While in the salon waiting for your appointment, note the hair styles that walk out and ask the receptionist who did the hair and how they like so and who is their favorite stylist. At the consult, the communication should be geared towards your concerns. Make sure they hear you and don't feel uncomfortable asking as many questions as you feel safe.
