Falls Church to Reston in afternoon rush hour?
Does anyone know how long I can expect it will take me? I have to be at a restaurant in Reston Town Center at 5:30, and am trying to figure out what time to leave Falls Church.
Also, google tells me to take the toll road, but if anyone knows any faster routes, please let me know!

If you leave Falls Church right around 5, the traffic shouldn't be too bad unless there is an accident or something unusual. I would definitely take the toll road. it usually backs up some at the main toll plaza and then slows down about bit on that big hill/turn area around Wolf Trap, but it's not terrible.
There is a series of back roads you could take, but it wouldn't end up saving you much time.
I'll get on right where 123 (Dolley Madison) meets Great Falls, so somewhat close to Tysons. I'll play it safe and leave 45 minutes.
