My Doha Adventures
DH and I have been trying to decide where to go work next (as we both feel like we are done here) and Dubai/UAE is an option. Just seeing Wendy's on that list has my mind totally made up! I miss Wendy's!

And with everyone talking restaurants, it's not just the fast food but regular restaurants too. They just opened Texas Roadhouse and the bread is NOM. Oh, and there's also PFChangs, Red Lobster, California Pizza Kitchen, etc.
We're going to be there from October 8th through the early afternoon of the 16th. Probably staying at the Grosvenor (H is a Starwood member).
SO EXCITED.

I had no idea the Grovesnor was Starwood. I know the Le Merediens here don't do points but the Sheratons do.
I'm so glad you'll be here for more than just a few days! What are you planning on doing while you're here? DH and I have a big Entertainer book full of BOGO coupons (that includes Ski Dubai, the water parks, etc).
Also, if you want to go to the top of the Burj Khalifa, I'd get tickets ahead of time. They're usually sold out the day of.
I hope Jennybee is able to make it over here to see you!
Darn you, Snippy! We get in at 1am on the morning of the 16th and leave that day as well. We need to be at the airport at 2pm. Hmmm....there's gotta be a way to make this work. I'd of course like to meet up at Dubai Mall so I can do shopping and see you, but that may not work for you.
Awww, Grosvenor House. They've got an amazing Indian restaurant in there, but it is pretty damn expensive. You will be so close to where I used to live!
I'm excited for you! You are going to have beaches and sun and shopping and food...all in a clean, new place!
