Dudes. I am a mess. Literally.

I was cleaning out the fridge and taking out the compost. I didn't realize the bag of old food was leaking. It's was all over my arm and dripped on the (carpeted) stairs.

My sweater smells like old, gross food now. Ick!Crying

DH is assigned to the household chore of removing gross food from the fridge for this very reason Tongue Tied  I hope the old food liquid is easy to get out of the carpet!

  • It all came out of the carpet really easily. The Spot Off remover from DA Burns is a miracle worker.

It was my brilliant idea to start composting and H was super grossed out by it. He told me that if I wanted to compost then I had to do it. Ick!

LB-ugh, that sounds awful. I can't think of anything worse than old rotten dairy.

Composting is freaking gross!! It gets all liquidy and nasty in the bottom. My Mom said that if I were doing it right, and composting everything that I can compost, then I would be taking it out every other day if not ever day so it shouldn't get that gross in my house. I don't think I was composting enough stuff so by the time the pot got full several days had gone by and it was nasty.

I know! I looked in to doing it at home in the yard, but I got so grossed out just reading about it. Waste Management lets us throw food waste and stuff in to our yard waste bin. It's like composting with out having to stir the grossness.

I completely agree with both of these.

Sorry that happened to you. :(
