Stopping in to say hi!
this will be short and without caps, but i just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all the well wishes and prayers. it's been a crazy last few days to say the least, but things are moving in the right direction! maya is doing great! she's finally being weaned off of glucose supplementation, and is eating formula and whatever milk i can give her (which just came in today - yay!). the staff is so impressed with her, and dh and i are so thankful that our sweet baby is doing so well. she'll be in nicu for a few more days at least, but they're mostly being cautious.
i am doing okay for having had an emergency c-section. i don't recommend it. healing is slow and painful, but worth it for a healthy baby. dh has been more than amazing through this whole ordeal. i truly married a wonderful man. this experience has made our marriage so strong. i don't think he'll ever know how grateful i am.
thanks also to jenn and uw for the cutest card ever, and for the visit.
