If you lived somewhere with easy accessed with awesome scheduled public transportation, would you use it?
Re: Tuesday QOTD
Apparently Seattle has an awesome bus system and it's free. DH's sister and grandparents were telling us about it the other day. They used to live there.
I would absolutely use public transportation.
I absolutely would! Tallahassee's bus system pretty much sucks. They just "redid" the whole bus schedule/placement of stops etc. to make it more people friendly and encourage more use of the bus system. Unfortunately, it appears that it isn't working out as they had hoped based on all the upset letters to the local paper about buses being delayed, missing connecting buses and a drastic increase in time to get from one place to another.
One guy wrote into the paper yesterday telling of his experience of using the bus. I commute that would have taken him 15 mintues by car took him 2 hours by bus.
I definitely would. We used the bus system when we went to Austin for ACL in 2006 and we also used the buses in Steamboat Springs, CO.
And at Disney World
How is it that my BABY is going to be 3?
