What's for breakfast?

Sort of a spin-off from eeeeva's post yesterday - what do you usually eat for breakfast?

I'm trying to be better about what I eat in the mornings, and grab something quick and healthy.  But I need some inspiration!

  • I am not a very healthy breakfast eater. I normally just have a bagel, but I made sausage balls last night so I had 3 of those this morning with some orange juice.

  • Today I had a piece of breakfast casserole it looks like that but I used Turkey bacon, and cheddar cheese instead.  I typically eat Yogurt with Granola thrown in and some fruit.

  • Egg whites and an English muffin with a bit of butter. I'm completely bored with it, so I'm looking forward to other replies! :)

  • Zone protein bar, same as every other morning.

    ETA: And coffee. Lots and lots of coffee.

  • Today instead of my usual english muffin with peanut butter, I went to the caf and grabbed a sausage patty, and had that on my english muffin instead. Not very healthy, but very yummy.

  • I've been switching it up lately.

    Last week was a Green Monster (frozen raspberries, 1 Tbsp ground flax, 1 Tbsp chia seeds, 1 banana, 1 scoop chocolate protein powder, 1 cup skim milk, 2 big handfuls of baby spinach).

    This week so far has been eggs and peameal bacon w/ a glass of orange juice, but well, now we're out of eggs and bacon, so I'll have to figure something else out for tomorrow.  Maybe smoothies again.

  • Oatmeal, cereal, toast & peanut butter, or smoothies. But lately I've been cutting dairy out of my diet to see if it helps with some of Darian's digestive issues so I'm really at a loss. I love my dairy, sigh. Right now I'm having oatmeal made with soy milk.

  • I'm generally a boring breakfast eater.  Usually I'll just have a banana and yogurt or some other fruit.  Today, I ran out the door without grabbing anything, so I'm eating a yogurt parfait from our caf.  Yum.

  • This morning I had an apple w/ peanut butter and 2 cups of coffee. Some other typical breakfasts for me are - yogurt, fruit, herbal life shakes, egg whites, egg muffins with spinach and cheese, oatmeal, and one splurge days I love a breakfast burrito.

  • I usually have a bagel thin with cream cheese. Some days a banana with a cup of milk. If I had more time, I'd cook an egg and have it on a bagel thin.

    I tried Nutella this weekend for the first time. I am afraid It was a bad thing to try. Wow that stuff is amazing.

  • if I eat breakfast (yes I am one of the bad people who skips breakfast so I can sleep longer) I have a nutrgrain bar, or a rice krispy treat. to day I had cold pizza and some cherry coke

  • I've been eating granola or cereal as well.  Sometimes greek yogurt with blueberries and honey.  I love the idea of breakfast smoothies, but I'm always running too late in the mornings.  Guess I just have to get myself more organized!
