Hey ladies. Hope everyone had a good week. DH and I got home on saturday night and I'm exhausted. Jamaica was freggin ahh-mazing. It was so relaxing to have alone time and some fun with our friends. DH got very sunburned on day 2 which put a little damper on his fun. The resort was beautiful and the people were fabulous. Everyone was so friendly and of course we made friends with the bartender at the swim up bar
It was a very relaxing week and the wedding was simply beautiful. There were a few glitches at the resort the day of the wedding that threw us for a loop, but it ended up going off perfectly and was beautiful. The jerks at Beaches decided to close the resort the day of the wedding to take arial pictures of the resort to update their marketing materials!! The bride & groom didn't find out until the night before the wedding and were absolutely livid. Needless to say, we raised a ruckus and got them to open a portion of the beach for us. Then just as the reception was starting the power in the entire resort went out!! Luckily it only lasted about 10 minutes but we were worried for a bit that we would be parting in the dark. the rest of the night went off without incident and we ended the night with late night swimming in the pool.
A did wonderful with my mom and my IL's during the week. I think he was a bit too spoiled though because we came home to a completely different kid. He threw a temper tantrum yesterday like I've never seen before. I have a feeling it's going to take me at least a month to undo all of the grandma spoiling and get A back into his routine (and used to rules). ugh.
Not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow ![]()
I have a ton of pictures on FB but here are a few of my favorites:
