What is your favorite fall recipe?

Re: QOTD#2
I made Shepard's Pie last night for dinner and it was delicious. It really made it feel like fall. I also made a great baked apple bread pudding, which also seemed very "fall" to me.
I also love Apple Cider with Spice Rum! That is one of my favorite fall recipes!

I have chicken & dumplings in the crockpot today which is definitely a fall comfort food for me!
I love most pumpkin baked goods, especially pumpkin roll!
This is also my favorite! Here's a yummy recipe that will warm you right up!
Mulled Spiced Cider
2 quarts fresh apple cider (in a pinch, jarred from the grocery will do the trick)
1/2 cup firmly packed light-brown sugar
1 teaspoon whole cloves
1 teaspoon whole allspice
2 cinnamon sticks + 10 for garnish (1 per mug)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 dash nutmeg
1 1/2 ounces rum (sometimes I substitute Spiced Rum for extra flavor)
With cloves and allspice in a teaball, cook all ingredients in a crockpot on low 2-8 hours. Stir occasionally to dissolve sugar. Or to make quicker, warm in a medium size pot on the stove on low heat 20 - 30 minutes or until your concoction is simmering & the sugar is melted. At this point, add 1 1/2 ounces (Bacardi) Gold Rum per mugful when poured. If pouring into a thermos, combine and pour at the end; just don?t cook the rum. Serves 10.
This sounds awesome!!!!!!!!! Thanks so much!!!!

These both sound amazing.
I love any sort of apple and/or pumpkin dessert.
Apple Crisp
apple crisp
1 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 dash salt
1 egg, slightly beaten
8 tbsp butter, melted
4 apples, peeled and sliced
2 tsp cinnamon
Preheat oven to 375. Mix flour, sugar baking powder and salt. Gradually add egg until crumbly. Layer apples in and 8x8 pan. Cover with flour mixture. Drizzle melted butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake for 35-40 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
I am very upset that there is not a recipe to go along with this post.
Sounds delicious!

Butternut squash risotto, i think the recipe is from cooks illustrated
I also love honeycrisp apples and cider based drinks, mulled wine is also good on cool fall nights
Someone posted last year a recipe (I thought it was Martha Stewart but I can't find it) for apple cupcakes with caramel-vanilla frosting... delish!
I had it bookmarked but apparently my internet browser ate the link. Does anyone still have it?
UPDATE: Found it
