So mad that I left my book at home

The boss is out today and I don't have anything super urgent to do today, and in theory I have a little time between work and happy hour.  Today would have been the perfect day to read :/  Now what the heck am I going to do?  Anyone have any new websites to recommend?

Re: So mad that I left my book at home

  • Same boat here - left my Kindle at home by accident, had to resort to listening to podcasts on my commute.  Not my preference. Commute home will be long.

When I want to totally veg I scan Superficial.com - not really SFW though

Wife, Musician, Fed, WW-er, and Mom of three little kids - not necessarily in that order.
  • Not only is the Superficial NSFW, it's totally blocked at my company (along with most social media, outside email, and anything related to alcohol or too tabloidy).  So to clarify, any G-rated websites safe from Big Brother to recommend? :)

  • I'd run out to a bookstore...  :)
  • is pinterest blocked (is that considered social media?!)?

can you read blogs?  or the newspaper online?

  • Hmm...maybe today is the day to look into Pinterest.  That could be a good time suck.  Can you look around without an invite/logging in?

Artslvr - I spent a good chunk of time so far cracking up over that blog you shared the other day (re-entering the terrible twos).  That was awesome.
