i am starting today. i'd like to say goodbye to 20 pounds!
any great foods/snacks/recipes you can recommend to get started with?
this morning, i had a light english muffin with 1TB chunky peanut butter, cup of 1% milk, and coffee with tiny bit of milk = 9pts.
Three hours later, I'm about ready for my banana and I know I should start chugging water....
I planned a sandwich - whole wheat potato bread, 2oz turkey, grainy mustard - side of cantaloupe cubes and a baggie of cucumbers and baby carrots for lunch.
i have two 100 cal packs - cookies and chocolate almonds - for later.
dinner - probably leftover baked bbq chicken on a tossed salad. dh is getting leftover pizza and Ava is getting leftover sesame chicken. Generally, I am not a short order cook, but to use up leftovers, we can all eat something different. Will locate something for Samantha too.

Free Disney Tickers
Sounds like you are off to a great start. I've lost 20 lbs. since July using WW. My best advice is to get all those GHG in. It's kinda fun for me ticking off those boxes on the tracker.
When you're ready to start getting AP's in...maybe going on a family walk might be something you'd like to do.
sounds lame, but i'm hoping to walk over the weekends. i get up between 5:30-6am and get home after 6:30 and start dinner and bedtime with the kids - then start prepping for the next day. I cannot exercise any earlier in the morning, or late at night
it's very hard to fit in for me. but i do know getting portion control in check should make a difference!
You will figure it out! I did WW about 10 years ago...I lost more than 75lbs (I know i should be proud but would rather not say exactly how many) and gained it all back plus the baby weight over those last 10 years. Horrible. BUT, you can do it and it is a great program. And I had a similar schedule to you back then (still do)...out of my house 12 hours and no desire to exercise at night...and still lost all that weight. Point is, you have to figure out what works for YOU as everyone is different...once you do, here comes the hot mama!
i did it in 2001 and lost a little over 20 pounds and kept it off for a good 5 years. then it's been up and down....and way up since having samantha! breastfeeding has not been kind to me - i needed a lot of calories and they did not melt off.
i am back to the beginning with 20 pounds to lose now.
i know - weight watchers works every time!
thank you!
man, i enjoyed being pregnant. i sometimes ate ice cream twice a day and felt no guilt at all (it was summer and i was a beached whale, after all).
although, i guess i'm paying for it now!
