Non-clicky Birth Control Poll
This is a spin off from my issues w/BC in the accountability thread. What kind of BC do you use? What do you love/hate about it? Any good/bad experiences with certain types of BC in the past?

Re: Non-clicky Birth Control Poll
I was on Ortho Tri-Cyclen from when I was 16 til 21... Then I went on the patch. I started having some weird symptoms (tingly legs) from the patch, so I switched to Yaz. Then I went off for awhile & realized BCPs make me BSC.
Before the wedding, I went on Seasonique because I was supposed to have my period on the honeymoon. I lasted two months on that pill before it gave me cripling mid-cycle cramps & I said "*** this *** & swore off the pill.
DH & I have been using condoms & half-assed charting since.
I was on Demulen (brand-name, not generic) for years and never had issues that I can tell.
After this one's born, DH or I will be getting fixed. Woohoo!
I used hormonal birth control from 15-23 (Ortho tri Cyclen, then Nuvaring) then charted for about a year. I had to go back on Nuvaring because my PMS symptoms were unbearable. I had cramps and backaches that put me out for three days.
I LOVE the Nuvaring, my only complaint is that your cervical fluid is a little more than usual (sorry I know that's gross).
I've been on the generic of Seasonale for the past few years and with the exception of last month I never have bad cramps or mood swings. I like only having 4 periods per year. I've got an appointment next week to discuss IUDs. I'm pretty certain I'm going to try the non-hormonal route for the next few years until we're ready to TTC.
I do not use birth control. Our method is affectionately known as pull and pray. When there is no pull, things like this happen (looks down).
After DD was born, I started taking birth control at 6 weeks postpartum (mini-pill). When my first postpartum period arrived, it was all whacky. The midwife said I needed to switch to regular (?) birth control. I took that for a while but my cycles were still very off so I opted to stop taking BC. I have very regular cycles without it and that allows me to chart and use fertility awareness.
How is it that my BABY is going to be 3?
