I started two loads of laundry. I set the timer on my phone to match the time left on the washing machines. I get there to switch my clothes to the dryers and only 1 load is done washing. The other load still needs 45 minutes! I checked the washer and it seems to be running fine. (I've never had issues with this washer before.) I switch the 1st load and stick around for a few minutes to see if the timer is counting down correctly. It is. So that leads me to believe that someone messed with my laundry.
Re: I. Am. Pissed.
I second that.
Ditto. When I lived in SD laundry rooms were frequently located next to pools. So many times I just wanted to dump people's stuff in the pool.
Here I only share with 5 other apartments and I still get annoyed.
Public laundromats freak me out. I've never had to use them except when we went on a long roadtrip for two months.
I really hate it too. I miss having my own washer and dryer.
You should move into our new complex!
Our lease isn't up until December. And even then, it would too much of a pain to pack everything back up, move it, and un-pack it again.
*whistles*
cheaper (even with the rebate), full size w/d, and 1,000 square feet! I'll help you move (aka, I'll hold baby...).
Yeah. This.

Yep this. I only had to do community laundry in college for a year and then moved in a house with a washer and dryer. That year was a PIA. I went home enough that I just started waiting until I went home to do laundry because I couldn't stand coming in and finding my clothes not where I left them.
And when we were looking at apartments when we first got married my big thing was a washer and dryer. I don't give a flying leap if it cost more I just want my own!
That is by far the worst thing about SM.
As someone who is moving for the third time this year I know that packing & unpacking sucks, but a w/d are sooooooooooo worth it.
