F/U to my 16 year old niece gift question
I talked to her on the phone last night! It was so weird, I answered and she said, "Um, hello... Aunt Jodi, this is Laurel...". I feel old now, lol. We have plans for me to pick her up after school this Friday and come back to my house. My dad, stepmom and brother are going to come over and we're going to have cake and grill some burgers.
I got her a Target gift card and my dad is going to give her cash so I'm hoping she and I can plan a shopping trip sometime soon. I'm so excited and I'm not going to lose touch with her again. *sniff* I'm getting emotional.
