Vents anyone?

Sometimes I think about just getting DH a scooter to drive to work because he is known for always having problems with his trucks! And everytime something breaks, it isn't little. Its like $4000+to repair. He got a truck in the spring and found out in the summer that fuel injectors need replaced. The parts alone were $3k Crying

I actually laughed when he told me b/c it doesn't suprise me that the 1 thing to go wrong is this much. Had a friend who is a mechanic and works on trucks fix it. Just got the truck back last night. DH just called and his truck died in the middle of the street. great

I have a feeling tonight will be BeerLightningBeerSad

  • DS has a pretty bad virus. If one more person tells me "he shouldn't be sick so young" or "this is why you shouldn't have him in daycare" I'm going to scream. Yes, it sucks. Yes, I hate it. I want to make him feel better. But, unfortunately, I can't stay home with him so he has to go to daycare. And, unfortunately, that means he's going to get sick.

I need to get my butt in gear and get this baby weight -- plus more -- off. I keep making excuses and I'm frustrated with myself for it. I always say "tomorrow" or "this weekend." I want to take the time for myself, but I don't feel like I have the support I need from those closest to me.

  • I meant to ask you L, did you get a new job?
  • Zoloft gives me the runs. I go back on Thursday to adjust dosage. I think I need more, I am still not un-crazy. Also, I am about fed up w/ my ADHD meds. They don't work, or I haven't found something that works right at least, and they are always back ordered!! So I can't stick with something that works because I have to jump around based on what is available that month.

Alissa's whining all the time also drives me nuts. She knows how to behave, but acts like a spoiled brat sometimes.

In regards to the pissing contest post above (that I haven't read yet, but I am sure I agree with....) this is my favorite quote from the bloggess: "We're all happy for you, but my *cat* was potty-trained in less time than your baby, so maybe stop being such a d!ck about it."

Holding a friend's newborn yesterday gave me baby fever, even though we are very firmly one and done. I just like cuddling newborns. Not really a vent.... :)

  • Not yet. I've had a couple interviews and call backs but not interested in the places or the pay isn't right. I'm being super picky and the more anxious I get the more I hate this job. I've applied at a few places I'm really hoping to hear from but I hate how HR takes a few weeks just to call.
