Coopersville & Marne train
Has anyone here been on the train? Ever or recently?
I'm researching out of the house b-day party possibilities, and this is on my list.
Willa 4.6.06 and Henry 10.18.08
Camp Sinki
Re: Coopersville & Marne train
I've been on it a few times.
But I am no help in the info department. Sorry.

D&M: was it fun?
Yes. I was there with my kids from a summer day camp I worked at and everyone had a good time.
We went on the Easter bunny train and I thought it was awful!!! ( Sorry D&M) Way overpriced for a train ride that mainly goes along expressway.
Are you looking for a place that you can hold an actual party (like a package deal) or a place you can do something fun and then do cake and ice cream and presents elsewhere?
this is an awesome idea for a fall birthday. I would recommend staying away from the haunted ride if they still do that.
I went on the haunted train ride when I was little. Third or fourth grade, maybe? It was terrifying. I screamed the whole time. My dad sat next to me and tried to calm me down but I was so upset and scared. The actors started stopping at me and showing me how the props were fake. Just because you are showing me that there is no chain on the chain saw doesn't make me less terrified of your crazy psycho killer mask, ok?
Though, I also screamed at the Haunted Mansion at Disney when I was in first grade. So I might just be a sissy.
What about an orchard? Check out Kent Harvest Trails for a listing of sites.
Fruit Ridge has something...

Thanks, guys.
If Kasa reads this, she'll be proud. I've started a spreadsheet.
Do you need the breakdown of a pizza party at home with both side of family, a take people to Chuck E cheese and buy pizza and some tokens, vs. two smaller parties with each side of the family, plus travel expenses to go to the other side of the family? I can help you out with that.
How many people (adults and kids). The Kroc Center does parties.
Awww... I'm so proud of you.
GVSU, I am breaking it down w/ 1 side vs. 2 sides together and seperate. We are not going there. We've worked it out so they come here every 18 months for a birthday party. They were here when Willa turned 4.
I think we're looking at 9 adults and 5 kids (2 of them under 2). Or 19 adults and 14 kids (with 3 under 2).
