Credit score question

Is there any where online to find out your credit score that is free and won't require me to call/cancel my subscription 3 minutes after the moon turns green using my home phone before charging $29.99 a month!?!

Thanks!  :)

Re: Credit score question

  • Try Score Sense! You have to cancel it by the 7th day at 4:29pm. It give you your credit report and score. They do hold $1.00.

  • No one provides free FICO scores. They will give you a free credit report and then 10 bucks for the FICO if you use the free credit report site. You should be able to get your credit report/FICO for 20 bucks without a subscription though. I have never had that problem before.

  • You have to pay for the score, I'm not sure which sites offer it one time for a fee vs. the subscription.  I use annualcreditreport.com to pull my free report and they offer scores for a charge - not sure if a subscription is required though.

Yep, annualcreditreport.com is the only free credit report provided by law. http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/microsites/freereports/index.shtml

  • If you want a free general estimate of ONE of the scores, then creditkarma.com give you that. It's NOT a fico score though, but I used it while i was working on improving my credit and then paid to pull real fico scores when we were ready to start the loan process.
