Did the bank accept your offer on short sale after you walked?

I just want to know who has had the bank come back to them accepting their offer after walking away? And perhaps you may know some factors which led to this?

Re: Did the bank accept your offer on short sale after you walked?

  • Nope.  I don't think they care if you walk, at least in my experience.  We walked from several and till have yet to find a house we like.  The only one who cares is the seller because they are back to square one with finding a buyer.

  • Yes.  Eight months later with a lower price--after we already purchased our second choice home:-(  Banks are awful.
