I have both Sleeping arrangements and Cocktails for Three checked out from the library right now but haven't started either.
I got hooked into Sarah's Key by Tatiana de Rosnay. Of course it was due back yesterday and I couldn't renew it due to holds on it, but I'm more than halfway done and I am going to try to finish it today. It was on the 10th grade summer reading list for the local school district, and it's especially interesting to me since we visited the Holocaust museum this summer on our DC trip.
I finished up Unbroken - it was a great book!! Definitely recommend it.
Now I'm reading Let's Roll. It's written by the wife of a guy who was on Flight 93 - it started with the morning of 9/11 and now it's all about their life, their backgrounds, etc. It's a pretty easy read - I'm interested to see what direction the book goes in.
Finished reading The Help last week, it was beyond amazing. Started The Alchemist Sunday, but haven't gotten too far. It's interesting but the structure of the storytelling is throwing me for a loop.
Need some good recs for light, easy reads - I need stuff that I can read before bed (it winds me down) that won't keep me up... suggestions??
I just finished reading House Rule by Jody Picoult. I liked it, but thought the court room drama could have been more limited. It dragged on a bit. It's about a boy who has Aspergers syndrome and it was interesting to see what living with that was like.
I'm not sure what I'm going to read next- I have My Sister's Keeper on the shelf, but really would like to read Heart of the Matter by Emily Giffin still.

I really need to get with the times and read this series! I am spoiled by library books for my Nook though and HG isn't available at my library. Since I have 7th graders reading it, I need to catch up!

Yes it is! I'm about a third of the way through the book and it's not sad at all. The first chapter is the morning of 9/11 and what happened at the house and Lisa finding out that Todd was on one of the planes. Then it goes back to their upbringings, how they met, etc.
