Wednesday Workshop

Well...still no big projects for me. Ok, well, i really can't even say that. I STILL haven't finished my upstairs bathroom. I think we're doomed for it to be a forever half-finished bathroom. But there's just NO time with how my job is and everything. Ugh.

My "workshop" post is that i really need to do the huge mound of dishes in my sink, fold the laundry that i washed over the weekend (since its still sitting unfolded, ugh), and empty the stupid litter box. My bathtub could use a good scrubbing too but that likely won't happen until the weekend. I wish i didn't work so many hours during the week so I could come home and do some chores after work so that I didn't have to waste my whole weekend catching up on what i didnt have time to do during the week. It makes my weekend a waste!

This kind of turned into a monday moan :P

Re: Wednesday Workshop

  • STILL working on getting baseboards installed.  lol I feel like we've been trying to get this done FOREVER!!!  But we have bought most of them that we need, and I contacted someone a friend knows who is going to install them for really cheap.

We also ordered three new windows to be installed because they are broken. They stay shut ok and have worked up until now, but we can't open and close them.  The one in the nursery is broken so that's what prompted us to finally replace them.

Finally got our landscaping done last weekend-we had a neighbor who owns a landscaping business order the trees and shrubs and plant them, it turned out really nice, it's nothing fancy, pretty simple, but it's nice and will be easy to maintain.

And still waiting on my mom to come out here and help with the last coat of paint in the nursery.  She offered to help but lives about an hour away and has been really busy, so I'm not sure when she'll be coming but we've got plenty of time.

And other things around the house I need to do are scrub the shower, do some laundry and go grocery shopping, we literally ran out of everything-bread, eggs, there is nothing to eat in this house!  It's been a busy couple weeks but I"m gonna try to work on this stuff today.
