    1. What grade do you want to teach when you're done with school? Some days it's 4th/5th and some days it's 8th. It's a good thing my degree covers that whole span!

    2. What flowers did you have at your wedding? I don't remember what they were called, but they were some type of tiny lilies. I loved them.

    3. What are your views on the death penalty? For it.

    4. Dream job besides teaching? I'd love to be a party planner. Or, a DHS worker who didn't have to follow all the rules (I know the rules are there for a reason, but...)

    5. Favorite thing about your H? Physically? His eyes. Also, he makes up for what I lack... we just go really well together. I can't really pick just one!

What are your hobbies? I'm a reader, I've crossed stitched a couple of baby blankets for my phantom babies and I enjoy doing that, I love watching sports, and... I don't know.

Favorite brand of cowboy boots? My favorite pair that I own are Double H. I'm not impartial to any particular brand. I would LOVE to own a pair of Bustamonte's, though.

Where is your favorite place to shop? For clothes, I seem to have the best luck at Maurice's. For fun, Target!

What is your favorite things to make food wise? Fajita chicken. It goes with SO many things and it's SO delicious!

Do you have any pets? 3. 2 dogs: Barkley and Telly, and a cat: Fisher.

What is your dream vacation? Ship me to Ireland for a few weeks!

How did you meet DH? I met him at a party/friend's house when I was on a date with another guy.

  • imageWendyToo:

You talk a bit about working for your grandmother, do you and your H live with her to accomplish that? I don't stay with her anymore - she had a few pretty bad nights and they moved her to a nursing home (where she's doing better than she has in over a year). But, I would go stay with her over night twice a week.

When will you finish school? I was hoping for May, but it will be December of next year. I feel like I've been in FOREVER. Maybe that's because I have?

What is your favorite book? I always loved the book 'Night' by Elie Wiesel. And, the Harry Potter series, of course. And... even though they are complete mind candy and totally redundant, I PPH the Stephanie Plum series. It is impossible for me to pick just one single favorite book.

What did you want to be growing up? I always wanted to be a baby nurse. I love babies.

What's your favorite TV show? I have a little list: Greys, Vampire Diaries, One Tree Hill, Big Bang Theory, HIMYM, and Gossip Girl.

What is an activity you dread doing? It's a tie between dishes and folding laundry.

What do you like most about Oklahoma? This is my family's home. I have an unreasonably huge family and every single one of them are here.

How long have you been married? It will be 5 years in January.

Favorite thing about your wedding? My flowers.

    Favorite casual restaurant? Probably Chili's.

Favorite nice restaurant? Honestly... I don't know if I've ever been to a 'nice' restaurant.

"Always have faith in God, yourself, and the Cowboys...'-Eddie Sutton

  • imagegingerfeathers:

Favorite baby names? Murphy, Morgan, Teddy (girls) and the only boy names I've got on 'my list' are Ransom and Mason. Most people probably give the side-eye to my names, but they're all names from mine and H's family... and I love names that are different as long as they're not 'youneek'.

Did you enjoy growing up where you did? I really did. I'm so thankful for how I was raised.

At what point in your life did you officially become tjlovesthepokes and not tjlovesthesooners? :)Probably from the moment my parents enrolled at OSU and moved to Stillwater when I was 2. When I was little, I went to a daycare called Kiddie College in Stilly - when people would ask me where I went to school, I would say, "OSU". OSU has just always been a part of my life, then, even more so when I moved to Stilly. Then, my sisters did and then we bought season tickets. So... forever? lol

Are you in favor of: Keeping the Big XII together, or going to the Pac-gazillion? Really... I have no idea. I find myself rooting for both at times. I don't think I really understand the whole thing, but I do think that Texas needs to quit being such a jackasss. I think I'm more on the side of keeping the Big XII as long as it becomes stable... I will really miss the rivalry with A&M. It is always a huge game. But, then I also find myself thinking it would be pretty awesome to play Oregon State University - which would make two orange/black/white OSU teams on the field at the same time.

Favorite book you've read this year? The Help. I really loved it, even though parts of it bugged me.

"Always have faith in God, yourself, and the Cowboys...'-Eddie Sutton

  • imagejabs86:

Favorite movie? A League of Their Own, probably. Oh! It might be The Best Little Whore House In Texas. It's a tie.

Celebrity crush? Gerard Butler. I would leave everything I own behind for him. Wink

Least favorite movie? Oh, I don't know - H loves The Green Mile and I can't watch it. So, maybe that one?

"Always have faith in God, yourself, and the Cowboys...'-Eddie Sutton

  • imageOSUWifey09:

If you were forced to move somewhere else, where would you want to live? Boston/East Coast.

What's your favorite part about tailgating? The atmosphere and hanging out with my family and friends all day.

What's your favorite childhood memory? My cousin and I would take off to the pasture at my grandparents' ranch or her parents' ranch and go to the creeks to play house or whatever. We had our own names for each creek based on things that were there (a dead Possum at one = Possum Creek) and the really large, flat rocks were our houses.

  • imageprettygirl06:

What's your favorite holiday? Probably the 4th of July. Or Thanksgiving (because it always went along with Black Friday and Bedlam).

Outside of the Cowboys, any other teams you find yourself supporting? The teams my little brother plays for. Also, my cousin is on a minor Boston Red Sox team so that one, as well. And, of course the Thunder.

If money were not an option, what kind of vehicle would your drive? Probably a Tahoe?

What "group" were you in while in high school? I don't really know - it was the 'cool kids', I suppose. I played sports and I had a lot of friends. It's kind of hard to have a lot of groups when you graduate with 50ish kids.

What's your favorite fair-type food? Mashed potatoes on a stick!

Sum up your religious/spiritual beliefs in 30 words or less: I was raised Nazarene, now Baptist (basically the same) - so I believe what I grew up believing, now mixed in with a few of my own thoughts.

If you could magically arrange your life just exactly the way you wanted it, even if it meant going back in time at what age would you:

       finish school? 22/23

       get your dream job? 24

       have a child? 21/22

       have another child? 23/24

       retire? 50

What did you want to be when you grow up when you were 5? A vet. My Nanny worked for one and I thought it was awesome.

How many different hair colors have you had? 1.

What's your fave way to spend time with your hubby? Driving with no must-be-here destination. It kind of takes away the distraction of TV and everything else.

What's your most embarrassing moment? The first one that comes to mind: I was walking down the stairs outside of one of the campus buildings in Stillwater thinking 'don't fall, don't fall, don't fall' and I totally feel down the stairs. Then, I got up, took about 4 steps and fell again. I had on tennis shoes and jeans... I think it was kind of one of those things where you concentrate so hard on not doing something that it happens, regardless.

If you taught 8th grade, what subject would you teach? History.

If you had to choose another state to live in, which state would you choose? Massachusetts.

How many (if any) children do you plan to have?  What are your TTC plans? I grew up in a large family, so I want a big one of my own. I'd say around 5. TTC plans: we've been roughly TTC for about 3ish years and it hasn't gotten us anywhere other than a few failed pregnancies. So, you know, we're still working on that... and we're also working on adopting (at some point). Adopting is something we planned to do, regardless. So, we filled out the paperwork, completed the classes, and everything else that goes with it. So, if something comes up that we feel we can take on, then we are totally open to adopting whether we've got biological kids or not. We're just kind of seeing where it goes and hoping something happens soon (whatever it may be) at the same time.

What's your favorite food? I love steak.
