BU: New series!

This is the first of my Around the World series.  These bars were AMAZING, and easy!

Bloggy Blog

  • Yeah, I'm not a huge coconut fan but I will eat it.  Does it have a strong influence on the texture?  It's more about the texture than taste for me.

    PCOS and Endo

Ovarian drilling and endo removed 1/3/12
    BFP - 3/27/12
    Beta's 11, 14, 57, 637, 2800
Sono showed no baby and teeny tiny sac. Waiting to M/C naturally.

  • I don't remember noticing the coconut that much.  Since you whiz it up in the food processor, it's not like you're getting strands of coconut, just little bits.  Then again, I like it, so even if I had really noticed it, I wouldn't have minded.
  • I like coconut...mmm..

  • This just proves that I need a food processor.  I don't have one and I forgo making a lot of recipes because of that.  Oh, that's a perfect thing to ask for Christmas!  I also put those cookies you made for the race on my pinterest :)

  • That sounds delicious! I'm not a fan of the stringy coconut either, but love coconut flavor.

I'm not kidding when, aside from my KA mixer, the big food processor we got as a wedding gift is the most used small appliance (for cooking anyway - I'm not going to count the toaster).  So useful!

And thanks for sticking me on pinterest!  I'm not sure if I should be as excited about that as I am, but I like seeing the little blog go places!
