need good nestie vibessss
today i go for my 40 week check up and for the past 4 weeks i have made no progress and had a high cervix... i've also had cronic back pain, sciatic pain, slightly high b/p and cronic headaches... i've tried every OWT (except co because im scared) but nothing has worked. i know when he'll come when hes ready but the aches and pains are slowly getting to me!
please send positive vibes that he is making some sort of progress. i would like him to come on his own and would like my body is somewhat get ready for his arrival without induction assistance!

At my 40w 1d appt. I wasn't effaced or dilated at all.....NOTHING happening. My OB told me she would see me next week for my 41w appt.
2 days later my water broke and A was born at 40w 34. So, like a PP said, just cause nothing's happening today doesn't mean something won't happen tomorrow.
Hang in there! Plenty of us have been overdue and done....we know how frustrating it can be. But that baby will be here any day now.
I hope you had a good appt today and made the progress you hoped for and that you're feeling more comfortable.
I'm in the opposite boat- I'm hoping my appt Thurs shows no progress (last 2 showed 0 dilation). I still don't have bathrooms upstairs or a kitchen, so the longer my guy stays in the better for me. Maybe we can make a deal with the universe and you can go early and I'll serve your time and go late!

i have to go for an ultrasound tomorrow to check the baby size. the baby is not engaged at all in my pelvis and my cervix is still not favorable and too high. he also is thinking maybe that my pelvis is too narrow. so next week we're gonna talk about our options... thanks for the vibes ladies!!!
