I just found out that my childhood neighbor has a brain tumor. He & his wife have always been like family to me. Please pray for his health & for his wife to have the strength that she will need to get through this.
Thanks.

I'm sorry to hear that. Do you know how bad it is? (ie: size, location on the brain) 3 years ago my dad had a brain tumor the size of a grapefruit in the front of his brain. They wanted to remove it immediately (it was causing him to have seizures). They were able to remove everything. However because of the length of time my dad was on the table laying on his side, it caused a small stroke in his eye which lead to him losing sight in his one eye. Luckily that was his only problem. He passed rehab with flying colors. He still has seizures due to scar tissue and they monitor him to make sure the tumor isn't regrowing. They did a great job hiding the scar on his head too by cutting behind his hair line.
I am hoping your friend comes through this with no problems. It is very scary to go through.
He just found out less than a week ago. It's on the left side of his brain but I'm unsure of the size. They haven't biopsied (sp?) it yet but I think it will be scheduled today. He is a very private person but I'm sure that his wife will keep me & my family in the loop. Thank you for the encouraging words.
Such sad news. I'm sorry to hear this and will be thinking of you, and them.
