I voted cheese, but it had to be grilled.
My other favorite was fluffernutters - but my father rationed those out as reward lunches.

I actually never ate jelly/jam on a sandwich until I was an adult. Growing up, my dad made my sandwiches with peanut butter and butter. It was all I knew.
Now, however, I eat PB&J all the time.

I'm an SS - my favorite still to this day is pb, banana and honey. Yum!
Second would be grilled cheese, especially when DH makes them but now that dairy doesn't agree with me, my fav comfort food when I don't feel good doesn't work

If I could not eat cheese I would have DH put me out of my misery.
I actually totally love PB and banana, better than either of these two options - I almost typed it, but then didn't know if it was 'common' enough and I was trying to keep it simple, you know, if Jenn is recording this for posterity I don't want to make it too difficult
