My arms are so sore. I've been playing fruit ninja on kinect the past few nights and I don't think my arms have ever gotten a work out like this. That game is so addicting. Embarrassed

Oh and, I ran in to someone in the kitchen with (what I assume) are pee pants. Ick!

I was heating up my lunch and this guy comes in and I noticed a wet spot about the size of a baseball near his crotch. I wasn't checking out his crotch. The spot was dark against his khakis that it was so obvious.

If it were me, I probably would have gone home. Seriously, who walks around the office with pee pants?

We ran out of veggie sandwiches before I made it through the lunch line for my work's luncheon (that I organized and used MY corporate card to pay for!). So lunch for me will be only a salad, and I'm bitter.

i swallowed my vitamin wrong today. it's stuck in my throat funny..not enough to obstruct anything, and it has a horrible taste that comes out with every breath.

Work is agonizingly slow but I have to stay here for the $$ but I'd rather be getting some keys cut, taking care of figuring out the tab renewal crap, or unpacking at the house or other useful things. The changes on FB suck so badly that I don't even want to kill some time by playing my games. Downloading a free trial of Illustrator at work so I can work on a silly personal project (seriously, I'm supposed to be the "graphics" person here and I had to beg for Photoshop and every once in a while I get nagged about fixing our customer's logos which I can't do well without a vector program. The stupid freebie program they always want me to use I had to uninstall because it crashes continually and never saves. I'm trying to be grateful I have a job in this shtty economy but when I'm pretty much ALWAYS underutilized/underappreciated/going to seed, it's a struggle.

I hate that! one of the pills I take every day is HUGE and it isn't coated so it gets stuck sometimes and/or I taste it accidentally, it has a horrible taste

Tman keeps getting "in trouble" at school. He talks CONSTANTLY. His teacher tells me that it's because he's "so bright" and that he knows that he doesn't need to focus to do his work. I appreciate that they think he's bright, and I know he's only 6 years old, but I don't get the not being able to stop talking. We have talked to him about it over and over and we discipline him at home when we find out he has misbehaved at school, but the next day it's like he's totally forgotten about it.

There's more to it, but my rant is that I'm frustrated.

One of the most frustrating things, I think is that he has such a good heart and good spirit and when he gets in trouble he says he's sorry to the teacher on his own and tells her he will try to do better. But he doesn't.

hahahaha this is me when i was 6 years old. the teacher called in my parents, and my bff's parents in at the same time to discuss it. they tried separating us, but we didn't stop talking. the teacher said we just leaned on poor middle peoples desks so that we could keep talking. i seriously don't remember what we ever used to have so much to talk about.

That was me through most of elementary school. And yes, most likely that means he IS bright...the work isn't challenging enough for him so he probably completes it in half the time it takes everyone else (or he dawdles at getting it done because it's easy and therefore boring). My teachers eventually learned that I loved to read or do art projects and I would happily (and more importantly QUIETLY) do these activities when my work was down before everyone else and shut up. Since I was respectful of art materials (I save EVERY scrap to reuse), in later grades they just gave me free reign and I would pull out my personal project (whatever I had made up that interested me) and not bother other students. Perhaps there's a way to incorporate an extra project for Tman that will help occupy him instead of talking?

I wouldn't call Contagion a horror movie. It's more like the movie Outbreak (with Dustin Hoffman and Renee Russo), but it's made to seem more realistic.

It isn't scary at all (imo), but there are a couple of gross scenes.

I hope you get to see it!

nobody (peer-wise) knows if it's true, but i personally suspect a mental disorder. it'd be a mess for the company to "let him go".
