Favorite place to buy t-shirts

I'm looking for some decent quality t-shirts (long sleeve and short sleeve).  I've bought them at both Hobby Lobby and Michael's before but I find that they both fade quite a bit in the wash.

I'm doing some applique but want some good stuff.  So, where do you get them?  Are there warehouese that sell to the public or a place on line?  I vaguely remember going to a wholesale place as a child with my mom to get a bunch of shirts for a project we did at my birthday party one year but I doubt it still exists.

That was random - anyway, where do you go?

Re: Favorite place to buy t-shirts

  • I usually use Cherokee or Circo brand from Target or Old Navy ones. The Garanimal ones at Wal-Mart are okay but they usually have embellishments on them (outside of pockets, those can be removed easily with a seam ripper and a steady, patient hand).

Gymboree and Children's Place are good brands for plain shirts too, but they are more expensive. I usually stock up on shirts when Old Navy or Target has a sale. Now if only I could find the colors I need!

  • Good to know.  I need adult sizes though too.  Maybe I'll check out ON!

  • Make sure it's not really stretchy, that's the key. If they're really stretchy (like the women's ones from ON) then they won't work as well. The Hanes type work great.

Me too. Excellent prices and even better shipping. I usually get stuff in 2 days!
