I almost always got caught doing whatever bad thing I did. The only times I remember not getting caught was skipping class/school and a couple of the parties I had at the house were never discovered. Sometimes it would be a week later, but my parents always found out. I did live in a small town, so that didn't help. So were you a good liar or did you get caught?

    With the exception of the journal incident I never got caught or at least I wasn't called out on it. Maybe my parents just didn't care anymore by that point.

    Very, very rarely. It did occasionally happen, like the time I walked in late from a date with a fat lip because I'd bitten my lip at dinner and then making out rubbed it until it blew up (which I didn't realize untiil I was driving home, doh), although she didn't actually call me out on it. I just got to be a really excellent liar, and they bought it every time. I got yelled at for enough stuff as it was, so I didn't feel bad about it. Girl's gotta live. After spending all that time perfecting my liar face, I should've gone into poker tournaments.

    I was always in trouble for something but the incidents where I didn't get busted far outweighed the ones I did. I was pretty sneaky and a good liar.

    Yes, always.

    My sister was never caught. She just recently (last year or two) admitted to my mom and dad that she skipped like half of senior year. And it was only because she, my mom and I were tipsy off margaritas. And mom and dad just laughed! I was like WTF? This got me MONTHS of solitary confinement ten years ago!

    That's hilarious. I think my mom would die if she knew exactly how much of my Senior year I didnt attend.

    I have 2 scars on the inside of my mouth.  I would smile whenever I lied (usually about my sister doing something I did) so I would bite the inside of my mouth to get away with it.

    I usually got away with it... and have the scars to prove it.  Embarrassed
