Today while taking my Statistics test I noticed that kid next to me was texting during the test. I was not sure what he was texting. After sitting to for a little bit thinking about (and being distracted while taking the test) I chose to tell the teacher. Needless to say I was shaking the last part of the test and just wanted to cry. Why are these choices so hard?
Re: Ethical/Moral choices
LOL! I'm sorry, I have a huge smile on my face. You shouldn't feel upset about doing the right thing. He's lucky you didn't make a scene. I'm that annoying person who probably would have yelled at them during the test (I can't turn the teacher off in public
).
Ultimately, he made the choice to cheat and he got caught. That's on him, not you. What did your teacher do about the situation?

That's what I kept thinking, and as my husband said, I would have felt guilty all day if I didn't say anything. I am not sure I left before this kid. It is a huge lecture class. I know they looked at the name on my test and up and the kid.
