Lanerbell re: Straw Dogs

How can you give a PSA about a movie but include spoilers?  When I see PSA I think it's something I should know before I watch the movie, but, if you have spoiled it in the post, I can't read it.  Stick out tongue

Re: Lanerbell re: Straw Dogs

  • I wrote spoiler in the title, don't open it if you don't want to be spoiled. Usually I wouldn't spoil a movie, but I know that scene could upset a lot of women and I would've like to have been prepared to see it.

I think what Liz was trying to say is that a PSA and spoilers are kind of contradictory.  I think from the previews that it was obvious there was a rape or attempted rape, at least, so I don't really think that was a spoiler.  I think it was a good PSA, although I'd never see that movie because it'd scare the shiit out of me! lol

  • I must not have been paying attention to the previews because I had no idea about the rape.

I agree with the other PPs that it is not evident that there's a rape scene.  Also, we all know what spoiler means.  So, regardless of  her saying PSA, spoiler = spoiler.
