I was thinking since we find out the sex of our baby on Monday that i wanted to do something cute to reveal it to our families. So i was thinking about getting a small cake and lets say its a girl i will get one with blue icing and then have them write in pink letters on the top"It's a girl" to kind of throw them off a bit and vise versa if its a boy.I'm not sure of any cute ways to tell them so do you think this is tacky?
Re: Is this tacky?
we did something similar but didn't do all the different color icing.. we bought a cookie cake and had them write "it's a boy".... before the we opened the box (it was taped shut and believe me we caught people trying to take a peek) we had everyone pick a side they thought the baby was. one side of the room is a boy, the other a girl... we had such a huge reaction.
Hello. I've waited here for you. Everlong<3<br>
I think that is a great idea...and I was thinking of D's cookie when you posted
We didn't find out the sex but would have done something cute like that. I love the cake idea. Or, you could do white frosting and for a girl, do "its a girl" in blue and vice versa for a boy to really throw them off
