If you have a husband who homebrews
Re: If you have a husband who homebrews
These are awesome. However, I am grateful that he kegs the beer now, because it takes up a lot less space.
He brews at his Dad's house, but we still get all the bottles.
I recently heard you can do mini kegs for homebrewing and want to learn.
Did those of you who do it teach yourselves? Was it more complicated than bottling or easier?
FI uses the small kegs, we got him a kegging system from Keystone Homebrew. It's a lot easier than bottling because you don't have to wash and sterilize all the bottles, then individually bottle each one, etc.
I didn't get to their new place until this weekend. I had been in the place before when it was the furniture shop, but not since they moved in. HOLY COW it's so much more space for them!!! I thought, I bet they are in heaven!
This is great.. About how much did you put into the initial kegging investment? I'm thinking Christmas present for DH this year.
Thanks for the info!
