Who here has seen Dr. Papenfuss?

I have a few questions. Just made an appointment with him for Oct.

  • I did, but it was about 5 years ago.

  • I have seen him, but recently switched to Dr. Nelson with Derm Specialists of Omaha.

  • Both he and Luchenson (sp?) lack bedside manner. I recently switched to Omaha Dermatology.
  • I would have to agree with JH1...I switched to Dr. Nelson a little over a year ago.
  • I was particularly disappointed with my mole check. I asked him to look me over for any suspicious moles. Total time spent looking me over: NO more than 60 seconds. I didn't think that was abnormal until I went to Omaha Derm and Julie (the PA) inspected my skin (movie aside bra straps, looking between my toes and bottoms of feet. The exam took about 5 minutes of actual inspection, but she also asked me about my sun time and all that stuff. Very thorough and made me feel really comfortable.

I believe my friend is a nurse at the Midwest Derm place and I think I have seen Julie before.  She was super nice and removed a mole for me.  My sis went to Dr. Papenfuss and he said she needed Botox. She is 28.  And doesn't need Botox.

  • My friend works at Omaha Derm, Not Midwest Derm.  oops
  • Did you guys see the old Papenfuss or the one in his 30's?  Just curious?
