Has it been a week already?
Ben is great. We thought Nate was an easy baby, but Ben is so much more laid back. As long as he's fed, he's happy. He has a good appetite, and when he's not eating, he's sleeping. He has a couple of "play times" each day. He spent 20 minutes looking at the cover of Nate's Clifford book yesterday. He eats so well, we joke that he's trying to weigh 9.5 lbs by 41 weeks, so that he can catch up with his brother.
Nate had a rough day yesterday. The novelty of having a baby at home may be wearing off. He still wants to take care of Ben, but is extremely JEALOUS right now. What keeps me sane is reminding myself that in a few months, he won't even remember ever being an only child.
That is my biggest worry for when #2 gets here. Part of me has been second guessing our decision to have another while still Amelia wants/needs so much attention from us. I just keep reminding myself that I came through having a younger sister and brother without any memories of feelings like I was neglected in favor of them. I have a feeling I will ask you more then once "how you do it".
So glad Ben is doing well! For your sake I hope he continues to be an easy-going baby.
Amelia is going to be a big sister!
