Apartments?

Hi ladies... I introduced myself a while back but haven't posted since. I'm thinking about moving to Boston next summer (currently I'm overseas in London).

Can you suggest any good websites for apartments? I know it's too soon to start looking but I just want to get a feel for costs and what my money will get me - it can't be much worse than over here!

If it helps any I'll probably be looking between Arlington and Cambridge areas. Thanks!

Re: Apartments?

  • Craig's List.  And I suspect it will be significantly cheaper than where you are now!
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • I think I remember you!

When we were looking for a rental we used realtor.com. It has an option to select renting vs buying.

One thing about Craigs List...if they say they are in Africa, or somewhere far away, it is a scam! Don't send them any information. Basically, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Arlington/Cambridge is a nice area with good schools. And there are a lot of rentals so hopefully you will have a number to pick from. GL!

  • Thanks ladies!

Have had a look at Craigslist and there seem to be loads... I didn't think of it before it's not used much in the UK other than for dodgy African scams like you mentioned MrsC.

You can find a lot of great stuff on Craigs List. You just need to protect yourself. Smile
