Re: 16 and Pregnant Season 1
Um, wow. That is unbelievable.
Not that this has anything to do with the above, but I'm trying to figure out who they are- didn't he join the Air Force? (Or am I thinking of someone else?)
that was him. she wanted to join too, but couldn't....and he was a few crayons short of a full box.

An American Girl's Travels
3 dogs- never being taken out, so they poop everywhere.
Baby not wearing diapers- so she poops everywhere.
Baby doesn't know poop isn't a fun substance to play with, so it gets on the walls.
Parents may be too cracked out to notice. Or care.
Glad the baby is in a foster home.
Oh, I get that. I was really questioning the mental state someone has to be in to let all those things happen. Obviously drugs are a factor but I suspect it is much deeper mental issues.
An American Girl's Travels
Yeah, I don't think someone has to be on drugs to have a serious issue with cleanliness/hygiene. I think about the people on "Hoarders" and how it's all so mental.
FWIW, my husband casually knew someone that let their dogs use the restroom in an empty bedroom in their house and NEVER cleaned it up. As in, never. (He was in the military at the time and this person was in his unit.) This person was drug free, just... nasty.
I remember seeing them on the "Where Are They Now?" special and thought they were so cute. I am glad that child is in a better environment.
Funk, that's gross.
I don't even like fostering puppies because it skeeves me out that they go to the bathroom in the house sometimes.
I have my own little steam vac cleaner just for those things.
Because puppies pee and poo, it's what they do. But I am grade A OCD about cleaning it up.
Yep. I cannot understand how people live this way. One time we got stuck in traffic for hours and our dog pooped in the house. It reeked. We cleaned it up immediately, and you can bet I was scrubbing the floor immediately too. I cannot imagine what it smells like to have one room in your house be a litter box that is never cleaned out (let alone an entire house like the 16&P couple). It makes me sad for the people that let it get to that point, because you know something just isn't right in their head.
there was an update on them on a past 16&pg special, "where are they now" or something like that.
they had gotten married, and moved out of state bc the guy joined the air force. she was a sahm to the little girl and had taken a pg test b/c she "thought" she was pg (she wasn't). they showed them in the house and it was so disgusting and unkept. she was super cocky during the whole special lol
