Seriously. I cannot believe they allowed that. Makes me think it was a set up to get people talking about the show.
I also think the young African American girl that was totally awful and kept insisting she was awesome was an actress.

This is the first time I've ever seen the show but I thought it was overly cheesy, dramatic, and kind of boring. I wasn't impressed by most of the people they sent through and the crappy ones weren't even funny. I also miss the old Simon.
I'll probably give it a few more episodes, but I don't know...I thought it made last season of American Idol look pretty good, lol.

I only watched the last hour of the show, and of that last hour, I probably watched about 10 minutes in total - but yes, it sucked.
When does The Sing Off come on again?
I thought most of it was set up and rigged. The guy that showed his junk should've been arrested right then and there. I don't know if everyone saw it but it panned to the audience and you could see parents escorting their kids out. And the Prince wannabe with the hills on didn't even sing. He did splits and jumped around like an idiot the whole time. It doesn't make sense that they put him through. Not a way to get ratings in my opinion and I surely wouldn't want viewers talking about the show in a negative way if it was my creation. They seemed to put everyone through but they all sucked except for the 13 year old girl that went first and the 42 year old mom of 2 that blew "You Make Me Feel Like A Natuarl Woman" thru the roof.
I'll probably watch a couple more episodes but if it's anything like last nights episode then I'll quit watching. I, too, also miss the old Simon. Go back to insulting everyone that deserves it...now that was good tv.

Sounds like I should be glad I didn't watch it yet. I was never a fan of the audition shows for AI, maybe I'll just try X Factor again when they've weeded out the bs.
Four favorites last night hands down are the 42 year old mom, 13 year old Rachel, Marcus and recovering addict Chris. Love all of them!!!
And what about the guy that dropped his pants? Really? Did you HONESTLY think that hanging your dong out to god and everybody would get you into the competition when your singing is below mediocre? I'm surprised he didn't get arrested for indecent exposure right then and there...
