Shilshole Bay Beach Club...wedding attire?
DH and I are going to a wedding on Saturday at Shilshole Bay Beach Club. Anyone been there or know anything about it? The photos on their website look pretty nice. That, combined with the fact that the wedding doesn't start until 7pm, makes me think it's more on the "fancy" side of things (though the invite doesn't really reflect that).
The only nice dress I have right now (that fits) is black. What do you think...wear the nice, black dress? Or go with something more colorful that's less formal?

I wish. The groom is one of DH's rugby teammates, who I don't know very well. I'm not even sure I know anyone else who's going.

I went to a wedding there in mid October a few years ago. It was my second wedding of the day. I wore a black velvet pants suit (ala J.Crew) with a lime green silk tank underneath. It does get warm in there. I know they have several rooms for events.
I think the black dress will be fine.
