Shepards Pie (Not a formal recipe, just my mom's best guess at the measurements)
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 2 large carrots, chopped
- 2 beef bullion cubes
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 2 Tbs butter/margarine
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 package frozen corn
- Corn starch or flour
- Gravy Master (optional)
- Mashed potatos (can use instant or real) - about 2 cups made
- Chives
- Paprika
- Pamesan cheese
- Saute beef and veggies (not corn) in a frying pan, drain fat if any.
- Add bullion cubes and 1 cup of water, thicken with corn starch or flour. I usuallly add Gravy Master for color but its not necessary.
- Pam Spray a 9x12 pan, pat beef/vegetable mixture into the bottom of the pan.
- Sprinkle frozen corn over the beef layer.
- Mix chives into the mashed potatos, pat on top of the corn.
- Melt 2 Tablespoons butter/margarine, poor over the top of the potatos.
- Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and paprika.
- Bake 45 min in a 350 degree oven, or until browned and bubbly.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes or so (to solidify a bit) then serve and ENJOY!

And here is Ziggy's favorite chili recipe. It's AWESOME with venison, but of course we don't that very often. Its also pretty darn good with beef
