So some of you may have seen my cryptic Facebook status last night?
So one of my classmates came up to me in class yesterday and asked if I was still looking for a job. I told her I was and she mentioned that her principal is still looking for an aide for a 4 year old autistic boy and she thinks I would be a good fit. What is CRAZY is that I was planning on asking her if her school had any openings, so I'm calling this fate.
I just sent over an email to the principal letting her know that I am interested in the job. They are conducting interviews next week. SO, I need some pretzel stances and good vibes that I rock the interview and get this job!!
Re: Update on Job Situation
AND wouldn't you know, less than FIVE minutes after I post this I get an email from the principal to send over my resume AND schedule an interview for Monday.
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY

YAY for the interview!!
I worked in an autistic preschool for a little while as an aid (during college) OMG my favorite was this little guy that I was working with and he was using the restroom (standing up) and he saw a bug on the wall and wouldn't you know the entire body moved with his head and soooooo did the pee lol. I had to remind him to focus on the task at hand (literally) and promised I'd keep an eye on the bug so he could look at it after he was done! They are amazing little kids! He gave me the biggest hug at the end of the day when I would bring him to his bus and his bus aid.
