Everything was fine as far as thyroid, no diabetes (or pre-diabetic), or any problems like that, but...
I tested positive in my ANA test, which means I have RA or Fibromyalgia, or something like that. We won't know anything more until I see the Rhuemetologist, and I guess it can take a long time to get in to see one. The worst part is any medication they can put me on to help treat whatever it is is very toxic to babies, therefore they will not put me on anything until after I have a baby and am done breastfeeding. So I am going to have to call my gyno and see what she wants to do. This may make it so Jeff and I HAVE to do an Artificial Insemination in January if we aren't pregnant by then. This is just not helping my stress level at all, and I am really trying to hold it together until I know more. But, I now have two diseases (whatever this turns out to be AND endometriosis) that cause chronic pain. Yay for me...
Re: Well, my blood work came back...
Oh Danie, I'm so sorry but I'm glad that you're getting answers. Keep your chin up. I'm a firm believer that what is meant to be will be & I know that you & Jeff will be proud parents one day soon.
Love & hugs to you.
George-Anne
I am so sorry sweetie. I am sure it is great to get answers but you were probably suprised by this. I hope they can get everything on a good regiment after you have a little one (which will hopefully be very very soon!!!), so that you don't have to experience too much pain.
I will keep you in my thoughts!
Ditto this exactly! ((((HUGS))))
Well that bites! I'm glad you got answers but sucks that they won't be able to do anything about it until after you have kids. Maybe check into some natural remedies to help. I'm sure there are a lot of support groups out there for fibromyalgia.

I have to agree with everyone else here and am not sure I can say it better than they have. I KNOW you and Jeff will have the family you so badly want, and that you will find the support/medicine/natural remedy or whatever it is you need to get through this.
biiiig hugs!
Oh no, I'm sorry. Fibromyalgia is plaguing quite a few of my cousins on my mom's side. Stay strong my li'l hunny-bun, and I'll be praying that you will be with child real soon so you can get everything under control.
Keep your chin up! Things will work out for the best!

I am so sorry, hon. Even though not much can be done right now, I am glad you have found out this information. I really hope that your obgyn has some ideas.
Praying for you:::::::::::::::::
I'm so sorry! But I'm glad you have this information now.
One thing I learned in med school is that if it is RA, then pregnancy alleviates all of its symptoms. So when you do get pregnant, you'll feel even better
